About the Role

The IT Enterprise Systems Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving enterprise IT architecture solutions that support scalable, secure, and efficient business operations. This role partners across IT and business teams to solve complex technical challenges, lead architecture initiatives within defined functional strategies, and support modernization efforts including AI enablement, automation, integrations, and cloud transformation. It operates with a high degree of independence, providing technical leadership for architectural decisions while aligning solutions to business objectives, security requirements, and operational standards.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
  • Design and maintain enterprise architecture solutions for IT‑owned systems and platforms.
  • Lead architecture efforts for moderately complex cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Define integration approaches across SaaS, cloud, and on‑premise platforms.
  • Support AI and automation initiatives through architecture guidance and implementation support.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations aligned to business needs.
  • Ensure architecture solutions align with security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Applications, and business teams on solution delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize system performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members and project teams.
  • Contribute to architectural standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Support vendor evaluations and technology selection activities.
About You

You are a collaborative and solutions‑focused technologist with a strong foundation in enterprise architecture and modern platforms. You enjoy solving complex problems, working across teams, and building scalable, secure solutions that drive real impact.

  • Experience with enterprise systems, cloud/hybrid environments, and integration design (API, SaaS, on‑prem).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • A thoughtful approach to security, governance, and performance optimization.
  • A balance of hands‑on execution and long‑term architectural thinking.
Core Experience
  • 8+ years in systems, application, or enterprise architecture (or similar roles).
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure, system design, and security principles.
  • Proven ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and evaluate technical solutions.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $126,000.00 to $190,000.00 USD annually, with variable incentive compensation, new hire equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
