This position is designed for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining the structured support of our community health clinic. Your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker will involve various responsibilities aimed at improving client outcomes:

• Develop, implement, and manage individualized support plans for clients, addressing specific challenges such as addiction, trauma, and mental health conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive interviews with clients to assess their current situations, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and needs to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Engage in regular evaluation of client progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide evidence-based counseling and information during therapeutic sessions, empowering clients to make informed decisions about their care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress updates in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences to share insights and strategies for client care, ensuring a cohesive approach across disciplines.
• Act as a key-worker, leading clients toward additional community resources such as support groups and rehabilitation services for comprehensive recovery support.
• Prepare to provide expert testimony in court as needed, effectively advocating for client needs.

You will primarily serve individuals from diverse backgrounds within the Plano community who may be dealing with mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, trauma, and related challenges. The clinic collaborates closely with various community organizations, highlighting our mission to provide inclusive and accessible mental health services to all clients.

The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW), psychology, or sociology; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in Texas.
• Demonstrated experience in social work or related fields, particularly in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of social theories, practices, and community resources.
• Exceptional ability to build and maintain therapeutic relationships with a diverse client base.

While the following are not mandatory, they will enhance your application:

• Experience working in community mental health settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and digital health technologies.
• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
• Multilingual capabilities, which can significantly enhance client communication.
