What is an architecture apprenticeship?

An architecture apprenticeship is a structured program that combines practical, on-the-job training with academic study for individuals pursuing a career in architecture. Apprentices work under the supervision of licensed architects, gaining hands-on experience while completing coursework related to design, construction, and architectural theory. This pathway allows aspiring architects to earn while they learn and can lead to professional qualifications without following the traditional full-time university route. Architecture apprenticeships typically last several years and are designed to meet the requirements for professional registration.
