Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a pivotal estimator driving the financial and technical evaluation of high-profile commercial glass and architectural metal projects. This role gives you the opportunity to leverage your regional vendor

relationships and technical expertise within an industry-leading company that rewards performance. You will confidently represent the brand directly to top architects, owners, and general contractors.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Analyze and interpret complex architectural drawings, structural blueprints, and project specifications to perform precise material take-offs.
  • Formulate comprehensive, project-specific contract proposals that balance both the practical and financial aspects of the subcontracting industry.
  • Collaborate directly with architects, owners, general contractors, and suppliers regarding construction detailing and strategic cost evaluations.
  • Collect and evaluate material pricing and application instructions from multiple vendors to monitor and maintain competitive project costs.
  • Partner closely with the project management team to align estimates with up-to-date market trends, material costs, and product applications.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong commercial relationships with regional general contractors, vendors, and strategic industry suppliers.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial estimating experience, specifically focusing on storefront, curtain walls, aluminum windows, or metal wall panels.
  • Proven ability to read, interpret, and thoroughly analyze detailed architectural drawings and technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with digital estimating software tools including Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  • 100% onsite
  • Must be eligible to work legally within the United States.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent technical field.
  • Established network of existing professional relationships with regional general contractors and material vendors.
  • Prior professional experience working in a construction project management or field operations capacity.
