A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ARCHITECTURAL HARDWARE SALES
Professional sales associate experienced in decorative architectural hardware. Knowledgeable in door nomenclature, door handing, architectural finishes, functions, hinges, read blueprints and prepare takeoffs. Familiar with brands like Baldwin, Omnia, Rocky Mountain and Emtek. A strong team player. Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Be a fast learner, cheerful, with a positive attitude. Previous experience in a retail environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Learn vendor catalogs and work with clients to assist them in selecting the appropriate products for their project
  • Prepare quotations based on door and hardware schedules
  • Prepare sales orders and purchase orders
  • Answer phones and meet with walk-in customers
  • Organize and maintain showroom
