Core Responsibilities

  • Steer the K12 Division: Lead the progressive architectural team in designing transformative education environments, discovering the unique mission and vision for each client's space.

  • Architect the Future: Direct the complete lifecycle of fast-paced educational projects, advancing designs seamlessly from initial conceptual presentations through finalized construction documents.

  • Cultivate Client Partnerships: Develop and maintain highly effective verbal, graphic, and written communications to build positive, long-term relationships with educational stakeholders and community leaders.

  • Integrate Complex Systems: Execute independent, creative problem-solving while integrating comprehensive knowledge of materials, products, and advanced architectural design processes.

  • Empower Collaborative Teams: Champion a team-oriented approach, collaborating seamlessly with in-house professionals across three regional offices to deliver unified, high-quality solutions.

  • Execute Strategic Delivery: Prioritize and orchestrate multiple high-visibility tasks, projecting a professional presence while navigating the complex demands of both large and small-scale K12 projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 15+ years of highly relevant architectural design experience.

  • Sector Expertise: Deep, proven experience in K12 educational design is an absolute must.

  • Software Proficiency: Advanced technical proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

  • Core Competencies: Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex design problems, manage fast-paced project lifecycles, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Tooling: Working knowledge of Newforma Project Center, SketchUp, and MS Office 365.

  • Leadership Traits: Proven ability to mentor cross-office teams, project a highly professional demeanor, and seamlessly navigate highly visible, collaborative environments.

  • Compliance: Willingness and ability to pass background checks required for working on sensitive K12 job sites.
