Containerization Architect

Location - Columbus Ohio
We are seeking a talented Containerization Architect to design, deploy, and manage an architecture for containerized application builds and deployments within our organization. As a Containerization Architect, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing our application deployment processes, enhancing scalability, reliability, and efficiency through containerization technologies. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to implement best practices and drive innovation in containerization strategies.
Responsibilities:
Design and architect containerization solutions to streamline application builds and deployments across our organization.
Evaluate existing application architectures and identify opportunities for containerization to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Develop containerization strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.
Lead the implementation of containerization platforms and tools, including container orchestration systems like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or similar technologies.
Define best practices, standards, and guidelines for container image management, Dockerfile creation, and Kubernetes deployment manifests.
Collaborate with development teams to containerize existing applications and refactor monolithic architectures into microservices.
Establish CI/CD pipelines for automating the build, test, and deployment processes of containerized applications.
Ensure the security and compliance of containerized environments through container image scanning, network segmentation, and access controls.
Optimize containerized infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to track the health and performance of containerized applications and infrastructure.

Requirement:
