Outpatient Therapist

Full job description

DIBE Arcadia Healthcare Services LLC is seeking a Fee for Service Outpatient Therapist. The Outpatient Therapist provides outpatient therapy and related clinical services to adult clients and their families in office/telehealth.

Responsibilities:

Clinical:

· Provide direct psychotherapy services (individual/couples/family)

· Complete initial assessment for new clients

· Complete discharges when needed

· Update treatment plans as needed, after an evaluation or every 15 visits, whichever occurs first

· Provide clinical documentation within 72 hours of service delivery

· Ensure proper client to staff ration is maintained

· Ensure clinical documentation meets standards of all governing bodies

· Collaborate with BSCs for shared clients when needed

· Following reporting guidelines of Pennsylvania child abuse laws

· Maintain communication with administration regarding any are of concern regarding client safety, treatment impasse or unusual incidents

· Maintain communication with psychiatric staff regarding medication concerns

· Provide crisis intervention as needed when on the clinical premises

· Protect confidentiality of client information both on and off (e.g. appointment, calendars, telephone numbers) the premises

Case Management:

· Complete concurrent reviews and third-party billing forms as directed and in a timely manner according to written guidelines

· Respond to client telephone calls, make outreach efforts to engage clients in psychological care (scheduling, follow-up if a client fails to show for a scheduled appointment)

· Schedule new client within one week of assignment

Professional:

· Maintain confidentiality as defined under Commonwealth statute

· Maintain professional credentialing qualifications as defined by CBH

· Participate in clinical and peer supervision as defined by agency requirements

· Participate in the total quality management program via a minimum of maintaining the integrity of the clinical record (to a maximum of accepting specific quality assurance functions if desired.)

· Maintain the professional code of ethics of the American Psychological Association and/or that of the profession by which he or she is licensed

· Respond to clients and agency personnel in a professional manner

· Maintain current personal liability insurance and clearances

· Maintain continued professional growth as demonstrated by proof of ongoing continuing education in topics relevant to mental/behavioral health care

Reimbursement:

· Fee-for-service therapists are not entitled to fringe benefits, pension, retirement, profit sharing, or any other benefits accruing to salaried employees.

· Withholding taxes, FICA, and any other taxes required to be deducted by an employer shall be the responsibility of the fee-for-service provider and not DIBE Arcadia Healthcare Services LLC

Qualifications:

· Licensed mental health clinician (Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor; Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; OR

· An individual with a master’s degree from an accredited university in a Clinical Mental Health Disciplines such as: Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, Family or Marriage Therapy***specific course requirements must be met; PLUS

OR

An individual with a master’s degree in the above, from an accredited university, PLUS weekly see CMH Manual for supervision documentation.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $36.00 - $39.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Flourtown, PA 19031
