Department: Arcade

Reports to: Arcade Lead and Arcade Department Manager

Pay Range: $14.00-$16.00

Location: Orlando, Kissimmee

Workers Comp Code: 8017

Travel: None

Availability requirements: At least 1 weekend day until closing and 1 weekday required

Work Status: Part-time under 30 hours per week


Key Objectives

  • Engage with guests by greeting them with a friendly and welcoming attitude, providing excellent guest service.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the arcade and midway areas.
  • Process transactions for game sales, Fun-E-Cards, and more.
  • Handle cash, and electronic funds, and process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
  • Stalk the arcade floor to help exceed sales targets and goals by upselling.
  • Assist with inventory management of redemption and game areas. Restock supplies if necessary.
  • Encourage guests to play games by spioeling and motivating them.
  • Provide prizes to winners of games when applicable.
  • Responds to any guest concerns by problem solving and asking for leadership assistance when needed.
  • Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Notify Arcade Techs of any machine errors, and return game play credit to guests. If necessary, perform minor repairs on games as led by the arcade tech.
  • Clean bathrooms in the Arcade
  • Have a working knowledge of all games and game play objectives
  • Assist guests and respond to any questions or concerns
  • Observe, instruct, and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform opening and closing department duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times.
  • Complete any other duties to assist with the operation of the park.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Ability to pass cash handler certification
  • Previous experience in sales is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
  • Compliance with Fun Spot America Theme Parkโ€™s drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use.
  • Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle check when applicable.

  • Ability to move around and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
