Summary of Position
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing all arcade games and related equipment to ensure a safe, engaging, and uninterrupted guest experience. This role blends hands-on technical skill with customer awareness.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, wiring, and PC-based systems
  • Familiarity with ticket redemption systems and card-based play systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve efficiently
  • Comfort using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent education
  • Previous experience repairing arcade games, vending machines, or similar equipment

Duties and Responsibilities
Game & Equipment Maintenance:
โ€ข Diagnose, repair, and maintain arcade games, simulators, redemption machines, and prize equipment
  • Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues
  • Replace parts, calibrate machines, and ensure games meet manufacturer specifications

Operational Support:
  • Respond promptly to game malfunctions during operating hours
  • Reset, reboot, or temporarily disable malfunctioning games as needed
  • Track repairs, parts usage, and maintenance logs
  • Assist with game installations, removals, and floor layout changes

Guest Experience & Safety:
  • Interact professionally with guests when issues arise
  • Ensure all machines operate safely and comply with company policies
  • Identify potential safety hazards and report concerns immediately

Inventory & Vendor Coordination:
  • Monitor parts inventory and request replacements when needed
  • Coordinate with vendors or manufacturers for advanced repairs or warranties
  • Maintain tools and work areas in an organized, safe condition

Performs other related duties as assigned by the arcade Supervisors, Managers and Directors.
