Description

TMRW Sports is seeking a strategic and creative Vice President, Enterprise Communications to lead the company's external communications, elevate our brand, and enhance and protect our reputation across sports, media, and entertainment. This executive will be part of the executive leadership team and responsible to drive integrated communications that build and maintain trust, and fuel growth with partners, media, employees and stakeholders. 


This executive will set the communications strategy that connects what we're building to why it matters - shaping storytelling across sports and business, media relations, corporate visibility, and thought leadership. This role will also lead issues and crisis communications. The position reports to the CEO.


Responsibilities:  

  • Set the communications strategy by defining and leading an integrated communications plan across business, partner, investor and executive communications-aligned to business priorities and brand voice
  • Drive business-sector storytelling by crafting narratives that clearly articulate our mission, differentiated point of view, and impact-across press, owned channels, and key moments on the calendar
  • Lead partner relationships by building and maintaining trusted relationships with communications leaders at partner organizations including the NFL, PGA Tour, LPGA, media partners, sponsors and investors
  • Manage relationships with top-tier sports, business, and entertainment media and anticipate opportunities and deliver coverage that advances TMRW Sports' reputation
  • Work with Corporate Development team to shape investor relations communications strategy, developing executive messaging and high-impact materials that clearly articulate the company's vision, performance, and growth story to investors and key financial stakeholders
  • Elevate corporate visibility by shaping corporate positioning through keynote speeches, interviews, panels, awards, and creator/partner moments that expand reach and credibility
  • Protect the brand through issues & crisis readiness, owning crisis communications planning, rapid response, and sensitive issue management, while coordinating closely with internal teams and business leaders
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing communications organization by defining operating rhythms, clear goals, and high standards for craft
  • Lead internal communications to keep employees informed, aligned and engaged through clear messaging
  • Serve as a senior advisor to cross-functional leaders (product, content, marketing, partnerships, operations) to ensure aligned messaging and seamless execution
  • Oversee outside agencies/consultants and manage budgets to maximize impact, efficiency, and quality

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in public relations/corporate communications, including management experience with proven staff mentorship and development expertise
  • Proven writing and oral communication skills, including executive communication
  • Demonstrate understanding of external news and media outlets/channels and how to navigate them including B2B and B2C relationships across Sports, Business, Entertainment and investor relations.
  • Experience and proven effectiveness in managing crisis communications and sensitive issues
  • Demonstrated experience building effective relationships with senior management
  • Proven track record of effectively directing and supervising internal teams, outside agencies and consultants
  • Proven ability to effectively manage budgets

Preferred:

  • Experience in sports, media, entertainment, or adjacent consumer-facing industries
  • Agency leadership experience and/or experience managing multiple external partners
  • Experience leading distributed or remote teams
  • Examples of leading or being part of a team launching brands or creating first-time experiences

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and narrative-building skills; high standards for craft and detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to prioritize, execute, and deliver under tight timelines.
  • An analytical, solutions-oriented approach and are comfortable operating in ambiguity and making high-quality decisions quickly.
  • The ability to be a trusted steward of confidential information with sound discretion and judgment.
  • Collaborative leadership style and you build strong relationships and operate effectively as part of a team.
