Overview

Work with the client team to develop conceptualise, ideate, and implement for clients

Key responsibilities include managing the team, creating an environment of collaboration and innovation, and delivering best-in-class social content

ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Product

Proofread content in both Arabic and English 

Conduct and support social listening exercise 

Pitch fresh content ideas to client in line with marketing objectives

Manage subscription with tool owners (e.g. community management)

Cascade & implement best-in-class social practice by ensuring all content developed is within social best practices

Support on building & developing 1-2 products within the four verticals

Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency

Engage with multiple client stakeholders on daily basis as key point of contact

Publish thought leadership pieces

Support with creating submissions for regional & global industry awards 

Manage supplier invoicing process & accurately report 3rd party costs

Negotiate with various stakeholders, internally and externally 

Oversee output of more junior team members

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of content and technology trends 

Observe bottlenecks in operational tasks and propose more efficient ways of working

Maintain positive relationships with all clients and vendor partners 

Innovative & Analytical Mindset

Package work by converting into case studies 

Analyse performance & listening reports to transform numbers and behaviours into actionable insights

Utilise insight from competitive alerts to create informed content that helps clients stay ahead of the competition 

Lead brainstorm with team members to develop fresh content ideas

 Qualifications

5-7 years professional experience in similar role

Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, business, or related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Experience with social media management 

Ability to develop original creative concepts and content ideas 

Familiarity with popular content management systems 

In-depth knowledge of the different social media platforms and post formats

Bi-lingual (English / Arabic) proficiency is ideal 

Insight into UAE & KSA culture / content landscape is ideal

Understanding of search is ideal
