Job description

Accounting Supervisor

Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: Up to $100,000 DOE

Summary:

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, and general accounting functions within a multi-entity environment.

This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Controller and offers the opportunity to help strengthen accounting processes, support operational improvements, and contribute to a company currently undergoing significant growth and modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow into broader leadership responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support daily Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, approvals, accruals, and three-way matching
• Assist with general accounting responsibilities including bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close support
• Oversee AP and AR team workflow and provide day-to-day guidance across accounting operations
• Support inventory-related accounting and reconciliation activities between multiple divisions and ERP systems
• Ensure timely invoice posting and proper accrual handling when invoices are pending
• Help improve processes, strengthen controls, and support ongoing accounting infrastructure development
• Partner closely with the Controller on operational and accounting initiatives
• Assist with cross-functional communication between accounting, operations, and plant teams

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of accounting and accounts payable experience required
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, AP processes, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end procedures
• Experience within manufacturing or inventory-based environments highly preferred
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage, Dynamics/Navision, or similar platforms preferred
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Strong attitude, adaptability, accountability, and willingness to learn are critical for success
