Job description

  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
    • A licensed and credentialed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provides diagnosis, treatment, conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies, professional consultations and provide direct patient care services and follow-up (depending on the state licensure) under the supervision of physicians. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provides age and specialty appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional/Educational
      • Completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program.
      • Certification in nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center or Americal Academy of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
      • Current Illinois Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license.
      • Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
      • DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
    • Personal
      • Works effectively with all levels of staffing, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
      • Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
      • Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
      • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
 

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
