Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America is currently in search for an Account Manager for its Franklin, IN location.

 Starting Salary is $80,000 and negotiable based on experience. 

Summary

The Account Manager will be responsible for OEM customers for all the current business sales activities and new program launch activities.  This role acts as liaison between customers and internal OEM organizations including our parent company and sister companies.  Account Manager assists the Sales Manager in directing activities within the Turbo Department with company goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take on total customer account management, including sales forecast, commercial negotiation, supply planning & delivery to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Manage program life cycle of products which includes receiving RFI/RFQ, developing price strategy, submitted quotes and price adjustments, forecasting, negotiation and receiving customer PO’s.
  • Supports sales activities through APQP process for successful program launch.
  • Maintain a list of open action items with customer(s), prepare reports, meeting minutes, maintain records, and organize files concerning our products and customers’ activities information, and report to Sales manager and our parent company in Japan.
  • Communication all customer requirements for design change, commercial, manufacturing, and quality control to co-workers in US, Japan, Thailand, Europe as appropriate.
  • Negotiate engineering and commercial solutions with customers.  Facilitate further communication with customers and our parent company and sister companies.
  • Investigate market information of products and pricing and provide successful commercial offer to expand sales and profits.
  • Review and negotiate legal documents such as T&C, NDA, etc. from customers with support from legal department.
  • Maintain and manage customer portals as an administrator. 
  • Manage customer scorecards, account receivable and customer visits.
  • Attend customer trainings and other trainings relevant to be successful in the role.
  • Promote sales of products through meetings and presentations.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to customers and manufacturing sites.
  • Attend early morning and evening conference calls as required.
  • Support co-workers’ activities as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management. 

Requirements:

  •          Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field experience is preferred.
  •          3-5 years of experience in Automotive is a must, Turbocharger industry is preferred.
  •          Ability to work well under time deadlines and pressure.
  •          Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  •         Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to occasionally move up to 35 pounds.
  • Computer skills including, but not limited to MS word, power point, spreadsheets, and databases.
