Job description

**Signon Bonus**- $4000 Paid: 1st half after 30days, 2nd half after 60 days.

ย **10% shift differential**ย 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering prints; identify and correct errors prior to cutting steel.
  • Set up and operate Wire EDM machines using a continuously moving wire to produce precise cuts and clean edges.
  • Perform fine, detailed machining for intricate profiles and complex designs using Wire EDM technology.
  • Create 2-axis and 4-axis programs using appropriate programming software.
  • Fixture workpieces as required to ensure proper alignment and efficient machining.
  • Inspect completed parts to verify all specifications and quality requirements are met.
  • Adjust machine parameters and control settings to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance in accordance with documented machine manual requirements.
  • Maintain inventory of consumables and components, including wire, guides, filters, belts, and related supplies.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, production supervisors, and other personnel to support workflow efficiency and meet production goals.

Education and Experience:

  • High school or GED equivalent.
  • Technical training, vocational education, or 5+ years on the job training/apprenticeship
