PaperWorks is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to work on a full-time, permanent basis out of our facility at 120 Trillium Drive in Kitchener, Ontario.

We offer a competitive compensation package which includes health & dental benefits and disability benefits, as well as a group pension program. Starting hourly pay rate of $39.73-$42.34, plus shift premiums and a discretionary bonus program.

This job posting has one available position. No Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used at any stage of our recruitment process. 


  • Work as a member of the Maintenance team to complete scheduled PM’s in a timely manner, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of our PM program and the equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns with a sense of urgency.
  • Troubleshoot controls and electrical equipment, and make the necessary adjustments to bring equipment up to running status.
  • Create/develop and program PLC's (software) as required.
  • Complete detailed work logs for all repairs, to help our predictive maintenance process.
  • Understand and apply the Electrical Safety Code at all times
  • Provide guidance and training to apprentices and junior tradespersons
  • Other duties as required.
  • Will be working a rotating, 12 hour continental shift schedule (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights)

  • Licensed 442A or 309A Electrician with strong working knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code
  • Strong working experience with PLC programming.
  • Capable to inspect, test, and repair electronic boards.
