Job Description:
Dobbs Defense Solutions is looking for a Senior Integrated Submarine Imaging Engineering Technician to add to our team. The ideal candidate will install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at company and client sites. You will perform or coordinate test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks of AN/BVY-1 systems. You will also perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems related to the operation of the ISIS System and Photonics Mast Variants (PMV) to include Mast Technical Insertion (MTI) and Low-Profile Photonics Mast (LPPM).
Duties:ย 
  • Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at Company and client sites.
  • Perform or coordinate test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks of AN/BVY-1 systems.
  • Perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems related to the operation of the ISIS System and Photonics Mast Variants (PMV) to include Mast Technical Insertion (MTI) and Low-Profile Photonics Mast (LPPM)
  • Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), Technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements.
  • Implement Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)
  • Train others in the operation and performance of the system(s).
Qualificationsย 
Required Education and Experience:
  • Ten (10) years of practical experience and High School diploma/GED OR Six (6) years practical experience Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program.
  • Experience investigating, troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problems in operational hardware and software
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Salary Range:
Pay range information will be disclosed consistent with applicable state and local pay transparency laws once available. For this position, the anticipated salary range is $83,200.00 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.ย
