Job description

Questmark is looking for a versatile individual to serve in a dual role capacity as both a DOT Driver and a Maintenance Mechanic. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of specialized flooring equipment while also ensuring the safe transportation of material to job sites. When not driving, you will perfom mechanical repairs and warehouse duties. This role requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic, professional integrity, and the willingness to travel.
$24+ per hour (dependent upon experience)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical Repair: Diagnose and perform mechanical/electronic repairs on small engines and specialized flooring equipment (scrubbers, grinders, burnisher, etc.)
  • Safe Transportation: Operate medium-duty trucks and 16 ft flatbeds to transport equipment and material; tow trailers as needed.
  • Warehouse & Logistics: Assist in receiving, purchasing, warehousing, and distributing materials. Load and unload trucks manually and via powered industrial equipment.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA, DOT, and company policies; maintain accurate work orders and results follow-up.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of medium-duty truck driving experience and prior experience with small engine/electrical systems
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Certifications: Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed.
  • Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities for electronic repairs and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
