Job description

Verification Specialist | Full-Time | Corporate | Remote

Join H2 Health as a Verification Specialist and play a vital role in supporting our mission of delivering exceptional patient care. As part of our corporate team, you'll work remotely while collaborating with clinics and colleagues to help ensure accurate and timely insurance verification, creating a seamless experience for both patients and providers.

In this full-time, Monday through Friday position, you'll use your attention to detail and organizational skills to verify insurance benefits, support administrative workflows, and contribute to the efficient operation of our growing healthcare organization. Your Role

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits accurately and efficiently.
  • Review coverage details and identify authorization or referral requirements.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain and confirm benefit information.
  • Document verification details within designated systems.
  • Collaborate with clinic teams and other departments to resolve insurance-related questions.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and payer guidelines.
  • Support timely scheduling and registration processes through accurate benefit verification.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while handling sensitive patient information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience with insurance verification, medical office operations, or healthcare administration preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer benefit structures is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team.
