We have a full-time career opportunity for a qualified Pump Mechanic to work in Aston, PA.
Job Requirements:
? Assemble parts, complex assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
? Measure and record sizes and clearances to within .001 inch
? Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the assembly and inspection process of the parts
used in the assembly of a pump.
? Hands-on experience with the ability to read blueprints and Assembly Drawings.
? Must be able to use, read, and comprehend micrometers, calipers, gages, and inspection
tooling.
? Capable of performing to established standards.
? Thorough understanding of tooling used to assemble pumps.
? Fully understands the function of the individual components that comprise the pumps.
? Required to complete provided documentation for each completed job.
? Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Testing Process.
Qualifications:
? High School diploma or equivalent
? Journeyman mechanic or completion of a mechanic apprenticeship is a plus.
? Five years or more in a similar role that requires tear down and assembly of mechanical parts.
? High degree of mechanical aptitude
? Use an overhead crane in an industrial environment.
? Works well with others.
? Good communication skills both in the oral and written form
