This role will oversee multiple projects from kickoff through closeout, managing field execution, client relationships, proposals, submittals, change orders, and project documentation while partnering closely with estimating and field teams. The company performs the majority of its electrical work in-house and manages projects ranging from smaller service and change-order work to multimillion-dollar electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate brings broad electrical construction knowledge, strong project ownership, and the confidence to manage demanding clients, detailed specifications, and multiple active jobs without losing control of the details.

  • Coordinate field teams, foremen, electricians, apprentices, clients, vendors and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Manage project documentation including proposals, submittals, change orders, vendor quotes, project paperwork and closeout requirements
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits and client meetings while maintaining clear communication around project scope, schedules and expectations
  • Review estimating work on larger projects and assist with change-order estimating, proposals and project transitions as needed
  • Diagnose electrical project challenges, research solutions, and develop effective proposals when service or on-call work does not have traditional plans or blueprints

Requirements
  • 7-10 years of project management experience in electrical construction preferred, with consideration for candidates with 3-5 years of PM experience and substantial hands-on electrical field experience
  • Strong, well-rounded electrical construction knowledge with the ability to independently manage projects across multiple electrical systems and scopes
  • Experience working for an electrical subcontractor, electrical division of a general contractor, owner's representative, construction management firm or similar environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining control of schedules, documentation, client expectations and field execution
  • Experience developing proposals, resolving electrical issues and working within self-perform electrical construction operations
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills with a self-motivated approach to researching and resolving unfamiliar project requirements

Benefits
  • Discretionary annual performance bonus with company profits shared back with employees
  • Company vehicle and gas card for business-related jobsite travel
  • Health insurance through Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Two weeks of PTO to start with the ability to negotiate up to three weeks based on experience
  • Accrued sick time in accordance with New Jersey requirements

If you're an electrical construction professional who knows how to take ownership of complex projects, lead confidently and solve problems in the field and the office, apply today and bring your experience to a company built for long-term growth.
