Job description

Job Summary

The Full-Line Technical Trainer delivers onboarding, technical, and field-based training for Full-Line installation and field support employees. This role focuses on accelerating employee proficiency through classroom instruction, hands-on learning, field coaching, proficiency assessments, and ongoing performance development. The trainer also supports standardized curriculum, digital learning content, and training resources while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities

       Facilitate classroom, hands-on, and field training for installers, apprentices, inspectors, and field support staff.

       Conduct onboarding, proficiency assessments, field observations, and remedial coaching.

       Partner with Senior Full Line Technical Trainer to identify skill gaps and improve employee performance.

       Maintain training schedules, assessment records, certifications, and training documentation.

       Develop and improve training materials, proficiency stations, and digital learning content.

       Travel to company markets to deliver training, conduct proficiency evaluations, and ensure consistent training standards.

       Measure training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on employee performance.

       Promote safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

Pay: Salary of $75,000 plus the potential of a monthly bonus

Requirements

       Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

       Strong coaching & mentoring abilities, with a track record of driving performance improvement

       Ability to lead & manage new learning & development projects from needs analysis to post-delivery evaluation

       Strong organizational, detail & goal orientation, communication & collaboration skills are required

Education & Experience

       3-5 years of residential construction, installation, or related technical experience.

       Previous coaching, mentoring, or training experience

       Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Travel & Physical Requirements

       Regular travel to company markets as needed (overnight travel included)

       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in classroom and jobsite environments.
