SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Mechanic to provide support for a Facilities and Life Support Contract performed at an overseas location.

Essential Job Duties

  • Must be thoroughly familiar with HVACR maintenance of equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of refrigeration, HVACR systems.
  • A record of safe operations and working knowledge of safety standards for mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of building and safety codes and practices.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and perform material take-offs from prints.
  • Must possess leadership skills.
  • Must possess the skills and attitudes to effectively communicate with the customer and subordinates.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Secret clearance.
  • High school (or GED equivalent), technical school, or trade school graduate or equivalent apprenticeship to include formalized training in stationary engineering.
  • Qualification/certification as an HVACR mechanic.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in the HVACR trades, to include two (2) years or more supervisory experience.
  • Possess a Universal CFC refrigerant handling license.

Work Environment

  • Must reside at an overseas location.
  • Long hours, exposure to harsh weather and other hazardous conditions.
  • Wear of location appropriate PPE and clothing when in the field is required.
