What are the Boiler Operator skills necessary for success? 

  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems related to boiler operation. 
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. 
  • In-depth knowledge of boiler operation, safety systems, and maintenance procedures. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work as a team.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and respond to emergency situations. 

What Boiler Operator experience is needed for success? 

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing high pressure boiler systems and associated equipment. 
  • Experience operating high pressure boilers in an industrial or commercial setting. 
  • Valid High Pressure Boiler Operator License issued by the State of Ohio. 
  • Certification in Boiler Operation and Maintenance (preferred).
