Job Title:

CNC Lathe and Mill Machinist 2

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced CNC Lathe and Mill Machinists for our second shift (3-1130pm) who can keep up with our fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Set up CNC lathes and/or Mills according to blueprint specifications
  • Select and align holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
  • Machine parts according to blueprint specifications
  • Conduct quality assurance checks
  • Make machine adjustments
  • Modify program speeds
  • Meet production schedules
  • Follow all safety regulations
Education and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED)
  • Apprenticeship or training program
  • On the job experience
  • Journeyman-level experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) a plus
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Experience working with various metal and plastic materials
  • Technical ability and basic math skills
