Position Summary
We are seeking driven, enthusiastic apprentices to join our team. PROENERGY's apprenticeship program, ELEVATE, offers a hands-on opportunity for participants to play a crucial role in shop operations and administrative areas on the Sedalia, Missouri campus. Over the course of this one-year program, apprentices will engage in six 8-week rotations, gaining exposure to various aspects of the business while acquiring fundamental and technical skills. Apprentices will have an opportunity to grow their careers through job training, life skills development, experiential learning, and mentorship. At the end of the ELEVATE apprenticeship program, participants will have received job training directly related to multiple entry-level roles at PROENERGY. Participants who successfully complete the program will have the skills and leadership support to apply for a full-time role and continue their careers within PROENERGY.

Position Responsibilities
  • Follow all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Job shadow with skilled technicians and coordinate efforts when installing or maintaining equipment or components. Work closely with machine operators and operate equipment.
  • Assist within the relevant department with basic job assignments while also actively seeking opportunities to learn and gain insights.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, share valuable insights, and offer suggestions for enhancing processes and operations.
  • Demonstrate commitment to personal development by completing all required surveys and evaluations.
  • Positively receive feedback from colleagues and leaders, keeping a detailed log of all required knowledge.
  • Actively participate in trainings and workshops, and seize opportunities for learning to continuously enhance skills and contribute to the organization's ongoing development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a growth mindset and passion for learning
  • Ability to interpret and carry out written instructions
  • Ability to learn equipment functions and use
  • Must be flexible and willing to assist wherever possible
  • Available to work at least 40 hours per week, starting as early as 6:00 AM
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa
  • Successful candidates will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check
