Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Advanced Apprentice Concrete Carpenters for projects located in or around Eugene, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-$27/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Concrete Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:       

  • Perform concrete stair replacement work
  • Demolish and remove existing stairs and materials
  • Build and install wood forms for concrete placement
  • Measure, cut, and assemble dimensional lumber
  • Complete basic wood framing and blocking
  • Install and remove temporary bracing and supports
  • Use saws, drills, impact drivers, nail guns, and other common carpentry tools
  • Assist with layout, measuring, and material preparation
  • Repair or replace wood components as needed
  • Perform general residential and commercial carpentry work
  • Handle materials and maintain job-site cleanliness
  • Work alongside Journeyman Carpenters and other trades

Requirements:

  • 1-3+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred
  • Experience with basic framing and general carpentry
  • Ability to measure and cut lumber accurately
  • Familiarity with common hand and power tools
  • Must be comfortable performing strenuous manual labor and heavy lifting
  • Must have basic hand tools and tool bags
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have proper PPE and work boots
  • Must be dependable and ready to work
