White Lodging is hiring a Lead Line Cook to help drive culinary results across our hotel kitchen operations. This role is designed for an experienced cook ready to advance into a Sous Chef-track position by taking ownership of daily production outcomes, team performance, and kitchen efficiency.

What You'll Accomplish
  • Step into Sous Chef responsibilities, ensuring BOH operations meet daily production goals and service expectations whenever leadership coverage is needed
  • Elevate team performance by mentoring Entry Level Cooks, Line Cooks, apprentices, and stewards to meet output, timing, and quality benchmarks
  • Maintain compliance and consistency by applying company F&B procedures, health department regulations, and federal food safety guidelines to protect operational performance
  • Support financial targets by helping maintain food and labor cost standards and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Ensure product excellence by verifying ingredient freshness and enforcing recipe accuracy, portioning standards, and production consistency
  • Strengthen guest satisfaction metrics by monitoring feedback trends and implementing actions that improve food quality and service reliability
  • Model professional kitchen standards, reinforcing teamwork, accountability, and a results-driven culture
  • Contribute to additional tasks that support kitchen productivity and overall culinary performance

What You'll Bring
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and culinary preparation techniques
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger and pantry
  • Experience mentoring or leading kitchen staff; prior senior or lead cook experience strongly preferred
  • Culinary degree, formal training, or apprenticeship preferred but not required
  • Ability to sustain a fast pace and maintain performance during high-volume service periods
