Summary:
The Apprentice - Psychiatric Technician role develops skills through education and mentoring to prepare for a certification to contribute to the achievement of quality care and patient outcomes by maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu. To accomplish this goal, the Apprentice Certified Psychiatric Technician will be precepted and mentored to provide care and emotional support as assigned. The Certified Apprentice Psychiatric Technician will be taught how to implement individualized treatment plans, assist with the collection and documentation in cooperation with the treatment team members.
