To be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen.
The Opportunity
As a Sprinkler Service Apprentice, you will learn about the fire protection trade directly in the field, working alongside experienced Journeyman technicians. You will help assemble, install, maintain, and service fire sprinkler systems while building the skills needed to grow into a licensed technician role. This is a field based, entry level role for someone who likes hands-on work, being on job sites, and learning by doing.
You will receive mentorship, paid training, and support as you work toward the licenses or certifications required in your area. If you are interested in the construction or life safety trades and want a clear path into a long-term career, this role is a strong place to start.
Key Responsibilities
You will spend your days on active sprinkler service and repair jobs alongside experienced Journeyman technicians, helping lay out, assemble, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems while you learn about the trade. In this role, you will:
  • Work under the supervision of a Journeyman technician on active service and repair jobs.
  • Assist with the layout, assembly, installation, maintenance, and servicing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Follow instructions carefully and complete assigned tasks accurately, safely, and on time.
  • Help maintain tools, equipment, and work areas so they are clean, organized, and ready for use.
  • Interact with customers, contractors, and team members in a professional, respectful way.
  • Participate in training programs and classes to earn state required licenses or certifications based on your assigned area.

What You Bring to the Table
  • High school diploma or GED, required to register in apprenticeship programs
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in learning a technical trade
  • Ability to take direction, ask questions, and follow through without constant supervision
  • Comfort working at heights and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily work
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Interest in the construction or life safety trades
  • Willingness to attend training and pursue state required licenses or certifications for your location

What Makes You Stand Out
  • You have one or more years of experience in pipefitting, construction, or related trade.
  • You have previous field experience working with sprinklers, plumbing, or mechanical systems.
  • You are comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools on a regular basis.
  • You have experience reading simple drawings or blueprints
