We're looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, lead generation, cold outreach, and appointment setting, and wants to develop strong sales skills while contributing to the beginning of the sales cycle.

What You'll Do

As an SDR, your main focus will be to identify potential customers, engage with prospects, qualify opportunities, and schedule meetings for our Account Executives.
Your responsibilities will include generating new sales opportunities through proactive outreach. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting new customers through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.

  • Identifying and reaching out to potential B2B customers within target industries. 

  • Engaging with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and business priorities.

  • Building relationships with decision-makers.

  • Introducing Can-Ex Technologies' solutions and communicating our value proposition.

  • Scheduling discovery meetings and demos for our Account Executives. 

  • Maintaining accurate records and activities within our CRM.

  • Collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing to improve lead generation strategies.

  • Following up with prospects to ensure a professional customer experience.

  • Continuously learning about our products, industry, and competitors.

  • Achieving daily and monthly activity goals (calls, conversations, qualified meetings) .

What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who is:

  • Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations.

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, telemarketing, recruitment, inside sales, or a client-facing role is considered an asset.

  • Experience with lead generation, cold calling, appointment setting, or outbound prospecting is strongly preferred.

  • Comfortable communicating with business professionals and decision-makers. 

  • Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) is an asset.

  • Experience in SaaS, technology, industrial, engineering, construction, or infrastructure industries is a plus.

  • Excellent English communication skills are required. French is a strong asset.
