Are you interested in insurance but not sure if you want to take the insurance licensig exams? Are you good on the phone talking with people? Do you want to get your feet wet by connecting with leads interested in insurance? Looking for a career that has growth potential?

This is an entry level position that requires no specific background.


Peak Insurance/Farmer's Insurance is looking for part time appointment setters. An appointment setter will be making cold calls to leads interested in home, auto and life insurance to collect necessary information for a producer to prepare and bind the quote. The position is ideal for those interested in learning about insurance but who are not certain if they want to take the property and casualty license. The ideal candidate will have a desire to interact with people through cold calling and will have grit and perseverence and an ability to interact with a varierty of individuals.

Responsibilities

Conduct high volumet outband cold calls to prospective clients daily.

Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to obtain information necessary for quoting.

Accurately record call outcomes and prospect information in CRM systems.

Follow up with leads via phone, email and text as needed.

Ability to interact with a variety of individuals.

Overcome objections professionally and confidentially.

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call and appointment quotas.


Requirements

HIgh school diploma or equivalent

Comfortable making 150 outbound calls per day

Achieve daily/weekly/monthly appointment-setting targets

Strong verbal communication skills

Clear, confident speaking voice

Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn CRM systems quickly

Ability to build rapport quickly with strangers
