What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an appointment setter closer?

To thrive as an Appointment Setter Closer, you need strong communication skills, persuasive sales techniques, and prior experience in lead generation or telemarketing. Familiarity with CRM software, dialer systems, and scheduling tools is typically required. Outstanding active listening, resilience, and relationship-building skills help you stand out in this role. These abilities are crucial for consistently securing qualified appointments, building rapport with prospects, and driving sales performance.

Is it hard to become an appointment setter?

Becoming an appointment setter generally requires good communication skills, persistence, and familiarity with sales or customer service processes. Many roles offer on-the-job training, and having basic computer skills and a professional attitude can help ease the entry into this position.

What is the difference between Appointment Setter Closer vs Sales Representative?

AspectAppointment Setter CloserSales Representative
Primary RoleSchedule appointments and close sales during callsIdentify leads, present products, and close sales
Work EnvironmentInbound/outbound calls, remote or office-basedField visits, calls, or virtual meetings
Required SkillsCommunication, persuasion, closing techniquesProduct knowledge, negotiation, relationship building

While both roles involve sales, an Appointment Setter Closer focuses on scheduling and closing during calls, often working in a more targeted, appointment-driven environment. A Sales Representative typically manages the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing, often involving broader responsibilities and client interactions.

What are some common challenges faced by appointment setter closers, and how can they overcome them?

Appointment Setter Closers often encounter challenges such as handling repeated rejections, maintaining consistent motivation, and efficiently qualifying leads. Overcoming these hurdles requires strong communication skills, resilience, and effective time management. Building rapport quickly, following structured scripts while remaining adaptable, and leveraging CRM tools can help streamline the process and increase success rates. Regular training and feedback from team members also contribute to continuous improvement and job satisfaction.

What is an appointment setter closer?

Appointment Setter Closers are sales professionals who not only schedule appointments with potential clients but also work to 'close' the deal by converting those appointments into successful sales or commitments. Unlike traditional appointment setters who focus only on booking meetings, these specialists are skilled in both lead generation and sales conversion. They play a crucial role in the sales process by nurturing leads, qualifying prospects, and handling objections to ensure a high rate of successful outcomes for the business.

How much money can an appointment setter make?

An appointment setter can earn between $25,000 and $50,000 annually, with top performers making over $60,000 including commissions and bonuses. Earnings depend on experience, industry, and whether the role includes commission-based incentives, which are common in sales-focused environments.

Job description

Location: We are looking to hire US/Canadian nationals/residents. We will not be able to extend an offer to people residing in countries outside the US/Canada. Please only apply if the above relates to you
About BNB Investor Academy:

We help investors turn short-term rentals into real cash flow in 90 days or less. Not theory. Not "someday." Ninety days. Once they've got a performing property and they're seeing consistent cash flow, we look to move them into our backend Boardroom Offer. That's where we go deeper on maximising revenue, tightening operations, and expanding their investment portfolio inside the short-term rental space.

On the sales side, we're not a startup figuring it out. We've got a 17 member team across Setters, Closers, and Sales Managers as well as a CRO. Systems are dialled in, producing, and ready to grow, and we have a fully built out infrastructure. No "go figure it out and build from scratch" here. Also, feel free to check out our CEO's LinkedIn, landing page & reviews to get a sense of the business we operate (links below) and standards we hold

Now we're looking for the next killer remote high-ticket Setter who wants to plug into a real machine and scale with a team that's already moving.

Business Information Links:
  • Landing Page & Testimonialsย
  • Trust Pilot Reviewsย
  • CEO's LinkedIn
  • Current Setter Testimonials: (see what the current team think/feel!)
    • Robbie
    • Noah
    • Nando
Compensation:
  • Base Salary:
    • No base, although there is a $3k/mo draw for first 60 daysย
  • Commission:
    • $500 per set (Set/closes 1-5)
    • $600 per set (Set/closes 6-10)
    • $700 per set (Set/closes 11+)
    • Paid upon closes, doesn't matter if payment plan or PIF
  • Minimum On Track Earnings:ย
    • 5 sets per day / 100 per month
    • 65% Show Rate = 65 live calls/month
    • 10% set close ratio = 6-7 closes/mo
    • $500-700 commission per unit
    • $4,000-$6,000 commission per month whilst ramping
  • Potential On Track Earnings:ย
    • 5 sets per day / 100 per month
    • 75% Show Rate = 75 live calls/month
    • 15-20% set close ratio = 11-15 closes/mo
    • $500-700 commission per unit
    • $6,300-$8,700 commission per month
  • Timezone/Working Hrs:ย
    • This is a full time, 8 hours / day position with breaks.ย
      • 8am-5pm US Timezone
Growth Opportunity:
Role Growth - Ability for seasoned and serious Appointment Setters to grow into a Closing role once they've achieved consistent and sustainable results over a prolonged periodย

Role Sustainability - This offer is a premium, exceptionally reviewed offer, and seen as a pioneer within its niche. Combining this with a well-established team (16 person sales team), with seasoned and tenured management, this is a genuine opportunity for Closers seeking tenure, real systems, longevity and quality income opportunity
Course Access - The person we hire will have the ability to go through the education and modules in the BNB Investor Academy and can learn how to benefit and profit from accessing investment opportunities in the short-term rental space
Intentional Support - Full access to daily Sales Team Trainings & Huddles, as well as 1on1 access to a seasoned Setter Manager, supporting you as you grow within the role
Why are we Hiring?

We're hiring a seasoned, polished Setter who knows how to move revenue, understands HT frameworks/sales processes, not just booking anyone on the calendar

Right now we're at $700k-$1M per month. The target is $2M per month. That kind of jump doesn't happen with average performance. It takes someone who understands pipeline, qualification, and how to qualify prospects up properly before they ever speak to a Closer.
We're scaling up Ads, spending north of 6 figures a month and we have a lot of demand, lead flow, and pre-qualification processes in place before a prospect gets on the setter's calendar, let alone the closer calendar.ย

As the first touchpoint in our Client Journey, you set the tone. You're the filter and the standard. The long-term objective is to get 1,000 people inside our back-end Board Room Offer (Boardroom Event). Hitting that means consistently bringing in qualified buyers that meet our standards and creating enough trust and momentum so that stepping into the back-end community feels like the obvious next move.
If you want to plug into a proven offer, strong delivery, and a team that's already producing at scale reach out and apply. We would love to see what you bring to the table.

KPI's:

  • 150 dials/day
  • 100 qualified booked calls/mo (5/day)
  • 65% show rate
  • 65 showed calls/mo
  • Set/Close ratio above 10%
  • 6-7 set closes minimum after ramping upย
  • Bring in $120k-$140k/mo in revenue
  • Team/Admin
    • Daily Sales Meeting
      • 11am EST Mon-Fri (1hr)
    • 1on1's with Setter Manager (30mins)
      • Daily for first week
      • Then 1X/week after ramp
    • EOD report
    • Update projections, tracking sheets, CRM, etc
