WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS REQUIRED!

Position Summary:

Make a real impact every day in this Mountain Top based role providing dedicated ABA services to one awesome individual! Build meaningful connections while helping someone grow skills and independence. Work alongside a small and dedicated team. This role is based in Mountain Top and service locations include being in the home and out in the community.

Job Duties:

  • Provide direct 1:1 behavior support to adults in home, community, and/or day program settings
  • Implement individualized treatment plans approved by a BCBA
  • Collaboration with other community-based team members, including the assigned BSC
  • Study all relevant records regarding the VIP you are assigned
  • Teach functional skills such as communication, daily living, vocational readiness, and coping strategies
  • Collect clear, accurate data to track progress and guide treatment decisions.
  • Support adults in achieving meaningful goals-whether that's navigating the community, building relationships, or increasing self-advocacy
  • Use creative problem-solving and compassion to overcome challenges and celebrate successes
  • Collaborate with an upbeat, supportive team committed to professional growth and client-centered care
  • Accurately complete all documentation and reports of individuals (progress notes, recording data, mileage logs) and hand them in promptly when due
  • Maintaining a good rapport with VIPs families continually
  • Completing 24 hours of the required annual training
  • Have reliable transportation to get to and from work, as well as to transport VIPs when needed
  • Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, engage in supervision and training, and collaborate with the team, staff members, and families on the strategies outlined in the behavior plan

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid driver's license & car insurance
  • Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism preferred but not required
