Desktop Application Packager Summary
On behalf of our client Procom Services is searching for a Desktop Application Packager with strong experience working with Orca and VBScript.
 
Desktop Application Packager Job Details
The Application Packager will create and or modify MSI packages (Must have extensive Orca experience), must have advanced VBScript experience for automation (wrappers, etc.)
Specific responsibilities include:
- Package applications in MSI format/standards
- Create custom wrappers for utilization with SCCM
- Coordinate the collection of application packaging and testing requirements
- Perform testing and distribution of packages
- Coordinate testing and UAT efforts
Qualifications

Desktop Application Packager  Mandatory Skills
- Min of 6 years' experience with the following Windows Technology: Windows 7, SCCM
- Experience creating application packages with MSI third party tool sets as well as Orca
- Advanced knowledge of scripting techniques to automate pre/post installation steps/conditions
- Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, superb Quality Assurance
Nice to have
- Experience with APP-V Sequencer a plus
