Job description

Browning is seeking an Application Developer to join our Information Technology team. This position develops and supports enterprise business applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite environment and integrations with cloud and SaaS and custom built applications.
This is primarily an in-office position with limited flexibility after onboarding and training.
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a developer with strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills and solid development fundamentals. Oracle E-Business Suite experience is not required; we are looking for someone interested in learning and growing within an enterprise application environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Develop and maintain Oracle SQL/PLSQL applications, packages, procedures, functions, queries, reports, and interfaces
  • Support and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite and other business applications
  • Develop and support APIs, integrations, and data exchanges with SaaS and other systems
  • Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues
  • Work with business users and IT staff on requirements, testing, deployments, and production support
  • Support applications across Order Management, Inventory, Shipping, Purchasing, Financials, and Warehouse Management and other business functions.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development skills required
  • Application or database development experience; 2-5 years preferred
  • Strong relational database, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and business users

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Oracle E-Business Suite, Forms/Reports, BI Publisher, APIs, REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, SaaS integrations, WMS, Java and other programming languages.
