Job description

PGP International, an ABF Ingredients Company, has an opportunity for a paid Student Internship in 2026. This internship is open to a high school or college student who is at least 18 years old to work collaboratively with stakeholders including VP of Operations and HR to assist with various office administrative duties including, but not limited to:

  • Assist VP of Operations with assigned projects
  • Assist HR with Onboarding and Orientation Trainings
  • Scanning and filing
  • Assist with Health, Safety Environmental training schedule and database
  • Ordering office and other supplies
  • Maintain visitor, contractor and employee sign in/out logs
  • Update contractor safety database
  • Create monthly report for contractor hours
  • Assist with computer inventory and electronic waste
  • Assist with safety shoe eligibility and prescription safety glass vouchers
  • Arrange special events, order lunches for visitors and audits
  • Assist other departments with administrative duties as required
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Demonstrate positive attitude, approachability, adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with great attention to detail.
Previous relevant work experience.
Computer skills with working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Power Point.
Excellent work attendance.
English.
Preferred:
Prior work experience in manufacturing setting.
Spanish
Event planning experience.
DESIRED SKILLS: Administrative Support. Microscoft Office application programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint.
WHAT STUDENT WILL LEARN: Intern will expect to learn:

  • Software and hardware experience.

OPPORTUNITY CAN LEAD TO: When successfully completed, this role can lead to full-time employment with PGP International and recommendation letters.
ADDITIONAL SCHEDULING AND LOGISTICS INFORMATION: The Intern will be working on site at the manufacturing plant. The role is offered to last up to December 31, 2026. Hours will be a minimum of 15 hours per week up to 30 hours per week depending on student's class schedule. Schedule can be flexible but will be during day shift hours.
APPROXIMATE HOURS PER WEEK: 15 to 30 hours per week depending on student class scheduling.
COMPESATION: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
Majors: Business Operations, Applications & Technology; Human Services, Manufacturing and Operations, Business Administration.
