Job Description: Manager, GTM Applications Engineering
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Manager, GTM Applications Engineering to join our GTM Applications team at Snowflake. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, architecture, and long-term product roadmap for our internal customers across the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Post-Sales, Professional Services, and Education (EDU) domains. You will report directly to the Head of GTM Applications.
The ideal candidate is a balanced leader capable of managing a hybrid team of both engineers and functional resources. You must be a strong AI adopter and an active proponent of leveraging AI to optimize engineering workflows and build innovative solutions for internal stakeholders. While acting as a manager, you will maintain a hands-on approach by contributing to technical architecture, design validation, code reviews, and writing code when necessary to ensure the delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
People & Delivery Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing, hybrid team of engineers and functional resources..
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from requirements discovery and business process design through development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
  • Influence the application roadmap and resource allocation for internal stakeholder domains, including CLM, Post-Sales, Professional Services, and Education (EDU).
  • Foster a culture of engineering excellence, professional growth, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Participate in and drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Technical Leadership & Hands-On Engineering
  • Actively participate in code writing, comprehensive code reviews, technical architecture, and system design validation to ensure production readiness, security, and scalability.
  • Drive the architecture and customization of Salesforce CRM and integrated go-to-market systems.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of contract lifecycle workflows utilizing CLM platforms such as DocuSign or Ironclad.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools within the engineering lifecycle to accelerate debugging, testing, and documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams to build, embed, or leverage AI solutions that drive automation and productivity for GTM internal customers.
  • Ensure development best practices are followed, including rigorous version control, CI/CD processes, and platform governance standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal business stakeholders across Post-Sales, Prof. Services, and EDU to understand process gaps and translate business needs into technical strategies.
  • Partner closely with Enterprise Technology leadership to align team roadmaps with broader corporate technology initiatives and infrastructure.
  • Communicate complex technical architectures, risks, and project statuses clearly to both technical teams and non-technical business leaders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of total experience in enterprise application development, software engineering, or GTM systems.
  • 2-3+ years of direct people management experience, leading technical teams consisting of developers and/or functional analysts.
  • Deep, hands-on development and architecture experience within the Salesforce CRM ecosystem.
  • Strong experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms, specifically DocuSign or Ironclad.
  • Demonstrated experience as a strong AI adopter, with a proven track record of using AI tools to improve engineering efficiency or embedding AI capabilities into business solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence Enterprise Technology leadership.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on programming experience with Python for enterprise integrations or data processing.
  • Familiarity or direct experience leveraging the Snowflake AI Data platform.
