Job Description
Develop software solutions to meet business requirements. Manage full software development life cycle including testing, implementation, and auditing. Perform product design, bug verification, and beta support. Execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications. Participate in software upgrades, revisions, fixes and patches as mandated by the vendor. Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion as well as code, develop, and document software specifications throughout the project lifecycle. Define and implement roadmap for platform modernization which includes application migrations across various application servers such as Oracle to WebLogic/Tomcat. Oversee upgrades of UI JavaScript frameworks such as Ext JS and Angular.
May work from home, but must live within normal commuting distance of the office.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 7 years of experience as an Applications Engineer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Also requires the following skills: 1. System product/design towards strong security, extreme performance and scalability, high availability and manageability; 2. Defining & implementing roadmap for platform modernization including, application migrations across different application servers and upgrade of UI JavaScript frameworks including Ext JS or Angular; 3. Implementing Productivity and Quality Improvement tools with experience in JIRA, ServiceNow and FlexDeploy; 4. Experience in UI design concepts. Experience in authentication, access control, accessibility, UML, or common Java/UI modeling practices; and 5. Multi-threaded design and programming in Java/J2EE including UI design, concurrency control, HTTP and HTTPs, and HTML5.
Position reports to office in Centennial, CO.
We are offering a salary of $164,112 to $180,523 per year.
