Field Applications Engineer Automated Test Equipment We are currently seeking a Field Application Engineer with experience in Automated Test Equipment in the Southeast and Austin, TX area. This is a remote position, but you must be located in the Southeast or Austin, TX. You will work from home while traveling 40% of the time, so proximity to an airport is required.

We are a passionate, hardโ€working team leading the test and measurement industry in the design of modular signal switching and simulation for electronic test and verification. The Field Applications Engineer role will develop into a Field Sales Engineer with unlimited technical sales potential and compensation. The Field Applications Engineer (FAE) operates from a home office in central Florida, the Atlanta area, or Austin, TX.

The FAE establishes and expands our modular switching and simulation business for accounts related to Automated Testing, supports customer applications, drives key account knowledge, and nurtures sales opportunities from inception to close using CRM (Salesforce). The FAE also provides market and industry data to product development teams. Responsibilities Increasing market/account share by gaining new project wins in target accounts/markets.

Providing frontโ€line technical support for customers. Preโ€ and postโ€sales support. Assisting in developing and executing sales strategies and objectives for the assigned accounts/markets to achieve market share growth and maximize sales revenue and profitability.

Providing regular status updates on opportunity/account development and performanceโ€toโ€plan, with updated revisions to sales and marketing strategies, account expansion, and other actions required to achieve and exceed projected targets. Maintaining and reporting an opportunity funnel/forecast for the general business and specific large project business. Developing and presenting proposals, negotiating orders, and ensuring that they are submitted with the required paperwork.

Demonstrating product knowledge to systems engineers, leading to a preference for solutions using our products/services. Providing input to Product Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams to help direct new product development that reflects market trends and customer needs. Conducting regular onโ€site visits with key customers to build preference in working with us.

Creating relationships with integration partners who can help further expand our market share. Analyzing and reporting the competitive situation for target accounts/markets. Monitoring afterโ€sales support communication to ensure customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills) Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering preferred; other college degrees with relevant technical business development and/or sales experience considered. Excellent understanding of basic electrical concepts, preferably with prior experience in engineering and/or sales of ATE, switching, and/or data acquisition systems. The ability to travel 40% of the time.
