Job Description

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage a team of contract and permanent support staff, located in United States, Manila and Vienna, to provide a high standard of technical support to the business
  • Responsible for stability of production environment by having a holistic view of the environment, focus on proactive management of change, effective incident management and problem resolution.
  • Be able to assess the environment, propose (take ownership) and implement solution to maintain and improve the overall health of our systems
  • Drive problem resolution through troubleshooting and escalating problems as needed for complex situations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the businesses and across the Technology team; building relationships with the delivery team, senior management, business and global technology teams
  • Ensure the bank's risk, audit, compliance and security frameworks are implemented and followed
  • Manage third party vendors and service providers
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Information Technology (at least 3 of which include working in the financial industry)
  • Solid knowledge of and experience with applications development and support. Proven track record of technology team lead or team management experience including staff development
  • Experience managing and supporting mission critical systems in a high pressure environment
  • Extensive Vendor management experience
  • Experience working with off-shore teams
  • Excellent leadership, customer service capabilities and strong communication skills to all levels of management 
  • Ability to motivate and establish clear directions for the team to follow
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and self motivation
  • Ability to quickly establish requirements and ability to work closely with the business to deliver the most appropriate outcome.
