Job description

The Opportunity

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking an IT Manager of Enterprise Applications and Data to lead the strategy, administration, and governance of our enterprise application portfolio and data assets. You'll oversee the performance and continuous improvement of business-critical applications, system integrations, and data management processes, while partnering with business leaders to streamline processes and align technology with organizational goals. This role also leads a team of application support professionals and manages relationships with software vendors, ensuring the organization gets lasting value from its technology investments.

Location

This is a hybrid position based out of our HQ Office located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Youโ€™ll be expected to work in the office three days a week.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead and develop the application support team, comprised of internal and external resources, including mentoring staff and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead the administration, support, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise business applications to ensure system reliability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute application management strategies, roadmaps, and technology improvement initiatives that support organizational goals.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, including implementation, upgrades, patches, enhancements, integrations, and retirement planning.
  • Oversee data governance practices, establishing and enforcing standards, policies, and procedures to maintain data quality, integrity, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify system needs, evaluate requirements, and implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead the design, management, and support of application integrations to ensure seamless data exchange and business process continuity.
  • Manage software vendor relationships, including contract oversight, licensing compliance, service-level agreements, performance reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Evaluate and recommend software solutions, enhancements, and technology investments to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Oversee application security, access controls, and compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for application performance, system availability, data quality, and vendor service delivery.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to enterprise applications, software licensing, support services, and vendor contracts.
  • Direct incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize business disruption and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Coordinate user training, communication, and change management activities related to application implementations and enhancements.
Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or five years of relevant experience in lieu of education, with a minimum of five years of experience in IT operations, coordination, or support; oil and gas industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise application management and related business systems.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles, including standards, policies, and stewardship practices.
  • Ability to lead enterprise application implementations, upgrades, integrations, and optimization initiatives.
  • Strong vendor management skills, including contract administration, software licensing, and service-level agreement oversight.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to resolve complex business and technology issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams, while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
