Job description

Application Project Manager

Contract Columbus, OH (Hybrid) NO THIRD PARTY C2C Need to go to office 3 days week

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects primarily focused on applications
  • Responsible for the oversight and tracking of all financial elements within the project
  • Ensure that scope is maintained, and appropriate change control applied if scope changes
  • Risk and issue management, as well as cross project dependency awareness and management
    • Efficient escalation of risks/issues that have project impacts
  • Work closely with Business partners and application owner on the planning and execution of project deliverables and timelines
  • Communication of project status, roadblocks, and risks to appropriate stakeholders
Qualifications:
  1. 5-7 years of IT project planning and management experience
  2. Firm understanding of project management principles (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SDLC)
  3. Prior experience delivering technology project
  4. Ability to quickly understand and engage on the project
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  6. Ability to influence without direct authority
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills; Risk and Issue mitigation/resolution
  8. PMP Certification preferred
