Nexagen Networks is seeking a skilled Application Programmer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support mission-critical programs operating within U.S. government regulatory and security requirements. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of applications used to manage and protect sensitive technical data.

The ideal candidate will bring strong programming expertise and experience across the full software development lifecycle, serving as a technical contributor who supports application enhancements, system integrations, and ongoing maintenance. This position collaborates closely with Space Force engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support enterprise-level operations.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions for the CMP.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement solutions.
• Maintain application performance, debug issues, and recommend system improvements.
• Provide technical support for end-users and ensure seamless integration with other CMP components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, or an additional 2 years of industry certification and experience in lieu of a degree
• Certification Required: Security+
• Experience in web development and web application design
• Experience with database management (Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase SQL)
• Experience with testing tools and methodologies
• Proficient in PHP
• Proficient in C#.NET
• Proficient in JavaScript
• Proficient in CSS
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
