Job Title: Senior Load & Performance Test EngineerLocation: RemoteExperience: 5+ YearsEmployment Type: ContractJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Load & Performance Test Engineer to design, execute, analyze, and optimize performance testing for large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise performance testing tools, application performance monitoring (APM), and performance engineering best practices. Experience supporting Oracle PeopleSoft ERP applications is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for enterprise applications.
  • Develop and maintain reusable performance test scripts aligned with business processes.
  • Simulate high-volume workloads ranging from 5,000–10,000 concurrent virtual users.
  • Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Configure and execute geographically distributed load tests.
  • Create detailed performance reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Monitor application health using Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
  • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers, infrastructure, cloud, database, and QA teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Support production readiness assessments and peak-load validation.
  • Provide ongoing performance engineering guidance and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in Load & Performance Testing.
  • Strong experience with one or more of:
    • LoadRunner
    • NeoLoad
    • JMeter
    • BlazeMeter
    • Gatling
  • Experience with APM/RUM platforms such as:
    • Dynatrace
    • AppDynamics
    • New Relic
    • Datadog
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Performance Engineering
    • Capacity Planning
    • Stress Testing
    • Spike Testing
    • Endurance Testing
  • Experience analyzing CPU, Memory, Network, JVM, Database, and Application performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, and enterprise web applications.
  • Experience integrating performance testing into Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills and performance troubleshooting experience.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle PeopleSoft ERP/SIS performance testing experience.
  • Experience with Oracle Database performance tuning.
  • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Scripting experience using Java, Groovy, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Performance Engineering or LoadRunner certification is a plus.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Oracle Campus Solutions, HCM, Finance, or Supply Chain modules.
  • Experience supporting large-scale higher education or public sector environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and automated testing frameworks.
