Job description

Vyron is looking for a talented application engineer who excels at solving complex design challenges in a fast-paced environment. Vyron Application Engineers aid our sales teams with their knowledge of our engineered products throughout the design, pre-sale and post-sale phases of a project. This developing position has also taken steps into tackling new challenges such as conducting technical energy analysis, post-sale troubleshooting, and industry-related education. This position reports to the Branch Manager and is located in the Wausau office.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Vyron's products on new and existing HVAC designs
  • Coordinate sales activities with Vyron's Estimating Group and Inside Sales Group
  • Technical problem solving; involves research and use of technical literature, consultation with factory engineering, and collaborating with sales and application engineering teams.
  • Support Vyron's outside sales team by processing design requests
  • Create quotations and submittals for the customer
  • Assist with training and developing the Inside Sales Group
  • Stay current on any training required by our suppliers

Requirements

  • BS degree in technical area - Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Determination to see tasks, jobs and projects to completion
