Java Application Developer

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Java Application Developer for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX.

Java Application Developer Job Details

• Backend and Frontend Web developer to develop client code to enhance monitoring feature.

• Responsible for building web interface that will be user experience driven and easy to use.

• Own responsibility for maintenance and enhancement of significant subsystems within monitoring application, including participation in the definition of requirements, driving prototyping and/or design analysis, code development, testing and deployment.

Qualifications

Java Application Developer Mandatory Skills

• MUST have deep Perl & PowerShell expertise.

• Fluency with Linux administration.

• Familiarity with Internet protocols including SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP, FTP, SSL, NFS, XML, and CSS.

• Familiarity and expertise with JavaScript, Ajax, Java, Struts, PHP, SQL, SOAP, Postfix and/or Send Mail.

• Development of Client code using Java API, REST API can be differentiator.

• Strong troubleshooting skills.

• Engineering graduate with software development and configuration experience of 5 to 6 years minimum at expert level including leading the team or deployment.

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task and deliver multiple complex projects.

• Drive the project activities with minimal supervision.
