Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. The Apple Store Online is seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer to join the Apple Store Online Operations team managing quality validation workstreams for Apple Store Online, Apple Store App and partner platforms. Our mission is to continuously improve the quality of information and experience presented to Apple's customers while delivering on the ever-increasing velocity of changes as the Retail digital platform expands into new geographies, languages, and devices. You will be part of a global team, driving implementation and maintenance
of highly scalable test automation frameworks for content validations across multiple platforms You are a strong hands-on QA engineer, deeply detail oriented, and comfortable with change and uncertainty in a dynamic work environment.
Description
This position is ideal for a Sr. QA Automation Engineer who is extremely hands-on, is passionate about quality, enjoys creating scalable simulation systems, and is eager to contribute to scalable validations using cutting-edge AI products as well as tooling and frameworks.
In this role, you will own building content validation test automation frameworks and tools with scale in mind and drive adoption through cross-functional partnerships
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in quality engineering as a QA Engineer or SDET, with a strong background in coding and implementing scalable automation frameworks
Deep expertise with modern scripting languages such as Python and Node.js
Experience writing, maintaining, and executing test automation plus familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
Proficiency with Software Version Control systems like Git (GitHub/Gitlab)
Experience with API testing and familiarity with server architecture
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Deep knowledge of Agentic AI and LLM driven test frameworks
Experience Testing AI Models for accuracy, robustness, fairness, and performance
Experience developing LLM based automated evaluation frameworks
3+ years of proven ability in machine learning, including hands-on work with LLMs
