The Commercial team is involved in the day-to-day running of Apple Music. The team provides strategic support to Apple Music leadership team, with responsibilities including fiscal planning, executive projects, and marketplace analysis.
We are looking for a leader to join our exciting team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving international subscriber growth.
Description
This role will own international subscriber growth for Apple Music. This role will act as the primary point of contact for Music leads in 40+ international markets and will work cross-functionally across multiple groups including Marketing, Business Development, and others. This role will require building scalable processes to equip in-country teams with the strategies, resources, and support they need to drive subscriber growth locally. This role will need to effectively communicate those processes to stakeholders, as well as hold teams accountable for their implementation and improvement.
The role requires a highly motivated, collaborative, and experienced individual with exceptional soft skills. You must be adept at building relationships, leading meetings with confidence, influencing stakeholders, and driving concrete business outcomes. You should be able to read a room, understand different cultural nuances, and adapt your communication style accordingly. This role is critical to Apple Music’s continued international expansion and subscriber growth, playing a key role in shaping the future of music consumption globally.
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven individual, with a true passion for the music and entertainment industry, to drive subscriber growth across all International markets for Apple Music. You will work with the Music Leads for each country and region to optimize subscriber growth, revenue growth and LTV in each market.

You will communicate these processes to Music leads in each market, ensuring clear understanding and buy-in, and you will hold stakeholders accountable for implementing the established processes and achieving agreed-upon goals.
You will define regional growth strategies and tactics, while ensuring alignment with global objectives and positioning.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working across multiple markets with an appreciation for working with different cultures.
Ability to develop, size and prioritize business cases of new initiatives for business growth and pitch confidently to senior executives.
A natural presenter who can also quickly distill information and summarize to the key important points.
Experience in digital subscriptions and transactional businesses preferred.
Masters in Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
10 to 15+ years of experience in business, growth and leadership roles.
An exceptional collaborator, who can engage and influence across the organization to make ideas happen.
Significant experience in leadership positions in the media industry driving growth-oriented initiatives in subscription services, marketing, or business development.
Data-oriented with the ability to understand key information that is needed to spot trends, identify issues, make key decisions.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to lead meetings effectively and present information with charisma and confidence.
Experience in developing and implementing scalable processes.
Strong understanding of the music streaming landscape, key players, and trends.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,600 and $266,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
