Our Data Center Engineering team is responsible for evaluating new technologies of IT servers, Data Center Infrastructure devices and systems. We are seeking a skilled BIM expert to to join our team and lead our CAD, BIM and engineering documentation systems management. We are looking for a team oriented and innovative person with a logical mindset, that is self-confident and forward-thinking, and is experienced in collaborating with the diversity of functions in the data center AEC space.
Description
As the BIM Systems Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert for the Data Center Engineering function; oversee the owner quality review of CAD drawings and BIM models on large, complex projects; provide leadership in documentation-related process development and re-engineering; and develop and maintain our BIM technologies roadmap.","responsibilities":"Develop process for the standardization of documentation, file structure and types to drive consistency across projects.

Provide quality reviewed BIM deliverables to facilities teams for operational use.
Manage the maintenance of the BIM-related digital assets to ensure they remain reflective of the current building asset condition.
Research, introduce, and support the implementation of industry-leading BIM technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Experienced with MEP and/or structural-related BIM modeling.
Strong familiarity with drafting (AutoCAD) and modeling (Revit, Navisworks and reality capture) applications.
Detailed knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Experience with scripting and/or visual programming automation tools (Dynamo and Python).
Project management and tracking experience.
Advanced spreadsheet and/or data base skills for data manipulation, project tracking, and analysis.
Proficiency with Mac, Linux and Windows systems.
Experienced with Civil3D and ArcGIS integration.
Willingness to explore and learn new tools and processes, which may require travel to Apple facilities to train and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Fluency in written and spoken English
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering, Architecture or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
5+ years experience in building-related 3D modeling, performing work on large, complex, MEP intensive projects.
5+ years experience in BIM administration and tool automation.
